Health Sciences Library Website Account

Logging into the Health Sciences Library website with your UNI will allow you to access restricted content. You will be prompted to login at pages with restricted content as needed or you can login here. Logging in here will also allow you to check if you should have access to electronic resources from off campus.

Your HSL website account consists of your publicly available Columbia University directory information and some relevant permissions associated with your UNI (i.e. whether you can access electronic resources from off campus or not). Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad)

Login to ILLiad to make new Interlibrary Loan requests, keep track of outstanding requests and access electronically received articles. If you have any problems with Interlibrary Loans please contact the Health Sciences Library's Interlibrary Loan office.

CourseWorks

Login to New CourseWorks to get course specific information, such as syllabi and instructor contact information. Items placed in Course Reserves can also be accessed from New CourseWorks.

Course Reserves

Login to Course Reserves to get access to the e-reserves (scanned PDFs) instructors select for your courses. Not all materials are available in electronic format and you may need to visit the library to access physical reserves.

Problems accessing e-reserves can be reported to the Circulation Desk or Shameem Ali (sa13 AT columbia.edu). Please include your name, UNI, instructor, course number and title of the reading in your email.

Instructors can add an item to Course Reserves by submitting their citations with the Add an item to Course Reserves form.

My Library Account

Login into your library account in CLIO to check due dates, renew items and review items that have been recalled. Your account can also be used to store library citations to items you are interested in and save searches that you want to repeat later.
