If you’ve begun work on a systematic review and are ready to start searching for studies, this workshop will cover what’s required. You will learn the range of sources you’re expected to search and some of the techniques needed to search them.
Who Should Attend: Anyone undertaking a systematic review as part of their educational program, or to publish in a journal.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Translate a research question into a search strategy
- Find existing systematic reviews
- Execute a basic search strategy in MEDLINE for individual studies
- Be able to identify the appropriate databases and information sources for your review
