Feeling a little confused or overwhelmed with the research process? The series consists of three separate classes, covering a variety of aspects of the research process: from picking a topic, to managing your project and expectations, to communicating your research. Attend just one, or all three, and feel more comfortable as you start out on your research project.

Who should attend: Anyone embarking on larger-scale research projects, such as Capstones and graduate theses or dissertations, or for post-docs and junior faculty just starting out in their research.

Series objectives:
By the end of this series, you will be able to…

  • Frame and scope your topic
  • Prepare for confounding factors that might impact your research
  • Recognize the value of no or negative results
  • Effectively communicate your research in the scientific arena

This class will focus on communicating your research.

Registration is required.
