Read by QxMD is an app for Android and Apple phones and tablets that enables you to easily discover, read, save, and share journal articles. Configure the app with your Columbia UNI and password, and Read by QxMD will provide one-tap access to the library’s journal collection.

Use Read by QxMD to follow your favorite journals. Set up keywords in the app to indicate your interests and field of practice. Read by QxMD uses this information, along with the reading habits of other users like you, to add articles to your “Featured Feed,” helping you discover new articles.

Read by QxMD can save articles to your phone or tablet so you can read them on the subway later. Use the app to create collections of articles and share them with others, or to follow collections created by colleagues.
