I can't access ILLiad

The Health Sciences Library uses ILLiad to manage Interlibrary Loan (ILL) requests for our patrons. ILLiad is a web-based program for requesting material and receiving electronic articles.

If you are receiving an error message when logging in to ILLiad or are unable to proceed past the log in screen, try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Try using a different browser (ex. Chrome instead of Firefox)
  2. Try clearing your browser’s cache  (Note: this will clear your history, cookies, and potentially any saved passwords)
  3. Make sure you have the proper level of  permissions to access ILLiad. ILL is available to current Columbia University students, faculty, and full-time staff.
