Take control of your research: create an ORCID iD today

Have you ever wondered how to manage all of your publications? Do you plan on applying for NIH, AHRQ, or CDC grant funding? A great way to keep track of your publications is by registering for an account through ORCID.

ORCID allows you to create a unique identifier (ORCID iD, or iD) for your publications. This helps distinguish your work from authors with similar names and serves as a repository to display your research to the world.

Register with ORCID

*Please note - the iD will not update automatically. Make sure to add publications to your ORCID iD as they are published.

NIH, AHRQ, CDC Compliance:

In addition to being a personal record of your publications, individuals supported by research training, fellowship, research education, and career development awards from the NIH, AHRQ or CDC are required to have an ORCID iD beginning in FY 2020. See detailed NIH notice.
