Get a book from another Columbia University library

The pick-up service enables current faculty, students, and staff to request pick up of library materials at their preferred, participating library locations.

  • The Pick-Up Service enables eligible CUIMC faculty, students, staff, with library borrowing privileges to request pick-up of eligible circulating library collections.
  • The Pick-Up Service is based on the availability of the requested materials and the capacity of staff resources to complete the request.
  • Materials will generally be available within 3-5 business days of request.
  • Requests are limited to 5 items per day, and no more than 10 items per 7 day period.
  • Some collections are not eligible for Pick-Up Service requests.
  • If an item is not available, a staff member will contact the requester by email to resolve.
